NFL making an impact
History of Giving
'The NFL has always been about football and community. We hope that you will join the NFL, our teams, and players, in reaching out and strengthening our communities.' NFL Commisioner Roger Goodell
The NFL has served communities nationwide for more than 75 years. Together with our member teams, players, coaches and families, the NFL works to make a difference through community volunteer work, outreach and involvement.

Our partnership with the United Way is over 30 years old. Together we've touched the lives of more than 120 million viewers every week, communicating the importance of volunteerism and public service. That partnership, along with the NFL's outreach initiatives have built hundreds of homes nationwide, provided food for thousands of hungry families in cities and town just like yours, and donated millions to ensure that all children have an opportunity to succeed in school.

Our goal is to inspire others to serve their communities.

The NFL is proud of our history of giving, and we are committed to having a positive impact for generations to come.
